The second phase launching of Ecological and Environmental Education Campaign

REPORTER Media Group in partnership with the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection Bucharest, Environmental Protection Agency Ilfov, National Environmental Guard - Ilfov County  Police Station, National Environmental Guard - Bucharest Police Station and Ilfov County School Inspectorate and Bucharest School Inspectorate participated in the second phase launching of the project "EcoAtitudine = Responsibility, Information, Action" - 2011 edition, on 20 September, at Environmental Protection Agency center, in Bucharest.

"In the first phase of this project, trips were organized for children where they were able to see what it really means the recycling", said Stere Creţu, Chairman of REPORTER Media Group.

The second phase of the campaign intends, with over 7,000 students and teachers involved in the project, to provide a complete and comprehensive development of the 'green'concept  by stimulating artistic and creative potential and the importance of selective collection of PET, paper, cardboard, batteries, light bulbs, electronic and electrical waste appliances.
The importance of this campaign to educate children was mentioned by Ninel Peia, Executive Director of Environmental Protection Agency Ilfov. "I congratulate REPORTER Media Group for this action in its second phase which offers the children the opportunity to learn how to properly collect waste".
The present edition, which students from six schools in Ilfov county and 5 schools in Bucharest are participating in, runs from September 15 to December 1, 2011 and includes a drawing contest, addressed to I - IV grades - "Environmental Protection through drawing and color "and a contest of making layouts of recyclable waste, addressed to V – VIII grades – By the RRR (reduce, recycle, reuse) program “you may give life to waste ".
For the winners of the second stage of the project "EcoAtitudine = Responsibility, Information, Action", the organizers, together with their partners, have prepared many surprises and prizes.
"I thank the sponsors for their support in this project and also the directors and teachers from participating schools and their children who are involved in its implementation. I wish all the best to the schools in Bucharest and Ilfov and I assure them that in December the best of them will win", said Simona Săceanu, Executive Director of Environmental Protection Agency Bucharest.

The campaign program menus as follows:
1. Collection of PET, cardboard and paper waste in schools:
- The collection period: 25 October 2011 - 25 November 2011
2. Collection of WEEE waste from students:
- Collection date - November 13, 2011
3. The completion date of designs and layouts competitions: November 15, 2011.
4. The official announcement of final results for the second phase: December 2011.

It will award two Special "Eco School" Prizes for a school in District 5 and a school in Ilfov County (involved in collecting recyclable waste), prizes consisting in equipping schools with electrical / electronic devices for carrying out educational activities ", said Adriana Calcan, Marketing Manager of Romprest.

Let's Do It Romania!, campanie de curatenie generala la nivelul tarii, aflata la cea de-a doua editie in Romania, se doreste un succes la nivel national si in 2011.
