Celebrating 100 years of aeronautics history of the Bucharest Baneasa Airport, the most impressive of this year's air show brings together 100 planes and helicopters flying and public displayed, and over 100 elite pilots and paratroopers.
For the first time in Bucharest, the air show will be attended by two of the most famous aerobatics formations in the world: The Frecce Tricolori (Italian, literally Tricolour Arrows), (Italy) and the Turkish Stars (Turkish).

The Frecce Tricolori represents the Italian Air Force and it is the largest acrobatics formation, flying with 10 aircrafts at a speed of nearly 900 km / h. The pilots who aspire to membership of the prestigious Frecce Tricolori must have at least 750 hours of flight on a jet plane.

Turkish Stars is part of the Turkish Air Force and it is the only formation in the world that performs with 8 supersonic fighter jets. The band achieved the squadron status in 1993 and it is considered the youngest team of supersonic acrobatics in the world.

During the event many elite names in acrobatics world will perform: Flying Bulls, Jurgis Kairys and acrobatics artists from Romania: Aerobatic Yakkers , Hawks of Romania, along with the best professional pilots from TAROM, Romanian Air Force, aviation forces of the MIA and S.R.I. and so on.

The agenda includes public recreational flights, parachute jumps for the brave ones, model airplane demonstrations, and music performances.
