Romprest is the main partner of Nicholas Voiculet artist initiative, 'Give Hope'

The ambassador of Romania by sound, Nicholas Voiculeţ joins the world artists in humanitarian actions currently taking place in the world to give good thoughts and hope to victims in Japan.
The humanitarian concert "Give Hope" for Japan initiated by Niculae Voiculet with the support of the Romanian Parliament, Romanian Red Cross, Embassy of Japan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and last but not least, UNESCO, will take place Friday, May 27, 2010, 19:00 at the Parliament Palace, Rosetti room and it is an eternal homage brought to the missing and their grieving families, a sound prayer for harmony and peace.
"I played on Japanese stages and I ascended in the applause of an initiated audience. It's hard to forget those uplifting moments. Now I join those who give hope through my sounds."
Those attending the humanitarian concert initiated by Niculae Voiculet will be able to transmit their thoughts of hope in writing on a sheet of paper. The messages will then be printed in a booklet which will go directly to the Emperor of Japan.
"I thank Romanian people and Romanian authorities for supporting Japan. At this time, the Japanese people realized how many friends they have over the whole world”, said his Excellency Natsuo Amemiya, the Japanese Ambassador in Bucharest.
The concert repertoire includes works of great depth and musical sensitivity composed by: E. Grieg, G. Verdi, R. Schubert, T. Albinoni, P. Mascagni, E. Elgar, G. Zamfir and N. Voiculeţ, with " Liber Artis'' orchestra. Nicholas Voiculeţ will sing classical and sacred music in the first part of the concert and the end will be a dialogue between flute and folk music.
Nicholas Voiculeţ, who tirelessly promoted for twenty years Romania's image in the world, ambassador for those in need, conquered by sound, in the summer of 2010, Japan's princely couple, Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko.
In these moments the artist expresses his solidarity and compassion for all those who suffered after the devastating disasters.
“Niculae Voiculet initiative to support victims of the earthquake in Japan, joining the campaign launched by the Red Cross is admirable. Thank all those who supported the call for Japan, launched by the Romanian Red Cross following the disaster in March. With this concert we try to maintain public attention to this tragedy and to energize people to continue donating, to support the recovery efforts in the medium and long term".
Give Hope Campaign & Nicholas Voiculeţ
"Give Hope" is a concert in support of victims of the recently occurred disasters in Japan. This is that evening when the sound and good thoughts will bring hope through Nicholas Voiculeţ music. The concert meets the fundraising campaign, supported by the Romanian Red Cross.

Nicholas Voiculeţ is a complex and evolved artist, pan flute virtuoso, conductor, music coordinator and producer, promoting Romania's image at a high level of artistic expression, thus becoming an Ambassador of our national identity.
The artist has performed in front of over 65 leaders of countries, he was awarded by the President of Romania with "Romanian Cultural Medal in the rank of Knight"; he is the only Romanian who performed at the World Bank and he was invited to close the Olympics in Beijing.
Nicholas Voiculeţ is the musician who won the princely couple of Japan by sound, Princess Kiko and Prince Akishino and many other personalities of the world, from whom he received many invitations. He performed at the holiness of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Rome and he enlightened, by sound, cathedrals around the world.
Nicholas Voiculeţ devoted his music and talent to charitable activities. Thus, he organized a tour in the United States for the people of Romania, following the flood disaster. He participated in a show of solidarity in benefit of the flood victims in the U.S. and Romania, held in Boston. Also in America he participated in humanitarian fundraising concert to build a new clinic in New Orleans, in the context of Hurricane Katrina disaster; he supported the campaign dedicated to the blind people in Romania.
Today, Nicholas Voiculeţ is famous worldwide for its virtuosity expressed through interpretation, and impeccable technique. He has collaborated with renowned artists with whom he has performed worldwide as an ambassador of the Romanian identity: Vienna, Prague, Stockholm, USA, Japan and even the Arab world are just some of the places where the Romanian pan flute and song was presented by Nicholas Voiculeţ.
