At Romprest we build our brand strategy with respect for the environment.
We express our concern for the environment through activities of corporate social responsibility.
We believe the environment is an essential component of durable development.
Activities in which we take part in are based on protecting and understanding the value of nature and also on forming a correct ecological conduct by cultivating sensitivity towards the environment.
We get involved in campaigns whose main objective is developing a civic conduct of young generations towards the environment and natural resources. We support major environmental organizations because we deem it our duty to protect nature.
Events we have taken active part in:
Lights out - Earth Hour Campaign.
Earth Hour is an event warning against environmental issues generated by human activity. And with all the cleaning that we do, we take care of Earth.
We conduct the campaign "The Great Disposal".
Citizens put out in front of their houses electrical and electronic waste they want to dispose of which we pick up and transport to specific collecting centers.
We are initiating the "Put it out in the street" campaign.
In this e-waste campaign we pick up electrical, electronic and house appliances waste, free of charge and it is later on treated, recovered and recycled in accordance with EU environmental laws.
We are partners in the "Your World? Clean!" programme
"Your World? Clean!" is an educational programme recognized by the United Nations Environment Protection (UNEP), addressing schools with I-IV grades and gathering over 30,000 children and teachers.
We support "Recicloniada" in the Revolution Square.
The eco meeting event gathers the most important environmental organisations, urban projects and collection centers. By bringing a simple PET or recyclable material, young people are gaining access to outdoor activities, prizes and good music.
We participate as a waste management operator in the ”EcoAttitude“ project.
The project aims at the awareness of I-VIII grade pupils (about 100,000 pupils nationwide) on the importance of selective waste collection.
We support the "Let's do it Romania" campaign.
The largest social involvement project in Romania, which aims at cleaning waste in natural areas in one single day. This action has proven to be a great success due to the numbers of people involved.
We organise ecological campaigns in areas where we are the main waste management operator.
Bucureşti, Buzău, Prahova, Tulcea, Galaţi and Ilfov.
We are partners in the "Baterel" campaign.
"Baterel and the NON-E World" is a national campaign for awareness, social responsibility and selective waste collection addressing students from all educational levels.
We implement the "Selective waste collection in your home!" programme.
And we supply bin liners for selective waste pre-collection for free (Paper & Cardboard, Plastic & Metal and Glass) to habitat owners associations in Sector 1.
We participate in the “Street Delivery”.
It is a project that aims at transforming Arthur Verona street in a cultural pavement route that would make a direct connection between Grădina Icoanei and Cişmigiu Park, thus facilitating to cross the city on the East-West axis.
